I am a Project Manager with 7 years experience specializing in Learning & Development (L&D). I’m adept at problem solving, critical thinking, and working with teams both local and virtual. My specialties are event management and classroom deliveries but am comfortable with self-study courses and classroom facilitation. I am well known for creating a valuable and enjoyable learning experience with every program I deliver and have many times received awards and recognition from both my clients and learners.
On a personal note I am a certified SCUBA diver with over 600 dives and am happy planning and leading dive trips for my friends. I also am active with the Multiple Sclerosis "MS 150" bike ride and work on both the planning committee and function as a ride marshal during the event. I have my amateur radio license and am learning how to use this new skill to support my future rides. In addition, I am an avid woodworker. You can often find me down at the Hackerspace teaching Pen Turning classes and working in the wood shop.
My three favorite things are helping others to gain new skills and further their careers, exploring the underwater world and creating in the woodshop… in that order. Feel free to poke around the site to learn more about me and see what I’ve been up to.

Marketing director for St Petersburg Fl responsible for identifying and setting up digital radio marketing targeted to residents in their local market. Clients included business from doctors to large industry manufactures. This is a start-up company which is branching out nationally.
Multiple Sclerosis Society Planning Committee 2010
2020 Planning, promoting and executing the annual MS 150 Bike to a Cure event. This event fields 1000 riders and 400 volunteers participating in a 150 mile bike ride to raise funds for people suffering with MS.

Managed multiple complex projects and programs utilizing traditional project management with agile influences. Focused on delivering projects in the PwC environment and understanding the line of service needs allowing me to deliver projects within scope and budget.
Coordinated the communications and logistics to the Partner sponsors and conference instructors and provided instructor training, on a $3,000,000 conference delivered in 4 regional locations.

Managed the on-site risk management team ahead of hurricane Sandy allowing the scheduled event to proceed with only a 4 hour delay only two days after the storm hit New Jersey. Acknowledge for my ability to handle a difficult situation under emergency conditions and controlling many shifting priorities and alternatives to reduce possible loss of revenue and major impact to the project.
